Introduction to Pleating

This is a chance to learn about the techniques of pleating and all the ways it can transform fabric structure and texture. You will produce a range of samples experimenting with hand pleating, making and using paper moulds, combining print with pleat, ways of stiffening fabrics and finishing edges.
